Jeremy Noseda joined the Highclere roster of trainers this year. He started out in the 1980s working as an assistant to John Dunlop and John Gosden. He went on to Godolphin where his skills became clear to many in the racing profession. Hand picked in 1993 by Sheikh Mohammed, who was then launching the now famous racing operation, Jeremy played a major role in the training of such great horses as Lammtarra, Balanchine, Halling, Moonshell and Vettori.
He started training in Newmarket in 1998 and has trained numerous top class horses and last year trained the winner of the St Leger, Sixties Icon, who was bought as a yearling by John Warren. In 2006, Araafa produced a stirring performance in the Irish 2,000 Guineas and Noseda enjoyed his best ever season with over £1.26 million in prize money. In 2007, he triumphed with a Group One victory with Soldier's Tale in the Golden Jubilee Stakes and with Simply Perfect to win the Falmouth Stakes (Gr 1) at Newmarket's July Meeting.
