We simply decided to name this syndicate after the filly's dam, the winning Gone West mare, Lady Salsa, whose mother, Chicarica, won the Chesham Stakes (Listed) at Royal Ascot as well as the Cherry Hinton Stakes (Gr 3) at the July Meeting. Cape Cross, is one of the leading stallions standing at stud in Europe and is responsible for last year’s great racehorse, Sea the Stars, as well as Ouija Board and many others.
