Deity
Golden Flyer (FR)
Danehill Dancer (IRE)
Mira Adonde (USA)
Danehill (USA)
Shir Dar (FR)
Machiavellian (USA)
A really precocious looking daughter Danehill Dancer, the leading sire standing in Europe. Highclere has been particularly successful with daughters of Danehill Dancer which include Tiger Eye, winner of the Tattersalls 800 in 2008; Cartoon, a winner in 2009; and Decorative, winner of her only start and rated 96p in Timeform.
Deity settled in well with Jeremy Noseda and looked to be a precocious Summer two year old in the making but unfortunately met with a setback and spent some time recuperating at Highclere Stud. By early July, she had been given the all-clear to start ridden exercise so moved to Malcolm Bastard's spelling yard in Lambourn for a month of trotting exercise. She will then return to Jeremy Noseda in early August, which means that it is just possible, provided she has a clear run, she could be on a racecourse before the end of the season.
