A beautiful daughter of Tiger Hill, who was purchased by Darley following a highly successful stud career in Germany and who has produced winners of over 300 races and prize money earnings of nearly £4 million.

Compassion settled in well at Fitzroy House but during early Spring, we gave her a short break out of training as she completed her basic education and had shown a very good attitude. A month at the Stud at Highclere gave her the opportunity to get her head down and enjoy some spring grass. She really thrived whilst at the Stud and put on plenty of condition and returned to Michael Bell during mid-June. By early July, she really had changed significantly and is a much more substantial filly. She is much stronger and is a filly who could easily run a couple of times this year in the Autumn. She showed a very good action coming up Warren Hill and at this stage her temperament cannot be faulted.

By early August, Compassion looked a picture of health; she is a filly with a lovely attitude who moves well. This filly is all about next year but if she continues to make good progress, Michael feels she will be ready to start faster work towards the end of the month.
