Pose is a very strong well made daughter of Acclamation out of the winning Marju mare Lyca Ballerina. She ran on six occasions as a two year old, putting up her best performance to finish fifth in the Watership Down Stud Sales race at Ascot at the end of September. This racy daughter of Acclamation looks sure to give her owners plenty more fun as a three year old.

Pose ran a satisfactory race at Windsor on 19th July finishing strongly in what was a competitive affair. The early pace was fast and furious as the jockeys tried to hold their positions and Pose was a little squeezed before dropping back to the back of the field. Ryan Moore then switched the filly to the outside with about two furlongs left to run but despite making up good ground, she always had too much to do, eventually finishing sixth beaten four lengths. Ryan felt that the ground was probably quick enough for her and that she would be more competitive over six furlongs on a stiff track, or possibly even seven. It was encouraging to hear him say that she was definitely capable of winning again.
